Houston Aeros Trip

Aeros are a hockey team that represents Houston. This hockey team despite the fact that they are part of a minor league they have the coolest staff you could have working for a team. They seem a young hard working staff trying to get better at what they do not only for the pay but for the team. It hurts to know that the Houston Aeros are not well known on the greater Houston area. This team and its staff has gone through alot. They are trying to advertise their franchise any way they can.
In the morning when we got to the Aeros main office a game operations director, Areos charity cordinator, the sports marketing cordinator, explained what they dedicate themselves to. It was interesting to know the other side of the team. Its not only the hockey team that does everything its the people that work day by day to get this franchise going.They have so many things to do not just the game.Without all these different parts of the staff that makes one whole there wouldn't be a game,not even a team.These people do what ever it takes to get people to go to their games. The charity director having to do charity but not only trying to get people to go to the games or trying to make the team, they help the community out. The game operation guy, if ti wasn't for him their wouldn't be any shows thought the game everything wouldn't be organize.

Lone Stampede Project

In class we have been making a band. By Making this band we had to come up with a name, logo, biography of the band, tour name, and sponsor. Its was nice to do this project because we had to use our imagination and creativity to make a band. Our group made a band called Lone Stampede, which as u can tell it is a Country band.

Marketing Research

In class I've learned new stuff. Planning is the one that I liked the most becaused I learned that without planning anything before doing something then it wouldn't work. We also learned Distribution,Focus Group,and Selling.

My favorite color has been blue for years. I really like any food out there, also i like to explore new food. Country is really everything i listen to, some rock and rap here and there. History is what i like to learn about in school. This can be so fascinating to me, learning about past events that happened. But math on the other hand can be so frustrating to me. I really hate doing math problems, but if necessary i work them. These two would be my strength and weakness. When studying for test i skim over all my notes of assingments that i've done.If in dought i work any problem or try to find any answer. This class is new to me. Ireally dont know what are we going to learn about. The one thing i would like to learn is how to run a business. When dividing our team each person should have a specific task to do and focus on it, at the end join the information. Me as a team member i would do what ever it takes to do a great job.

My group and I just finished doing our Marketing assingment. We promoted Under Armour as our product. Promoting footwear,showing prices,giving a location,and a new slogan for it.

My name is Willie Hernandez. Blue has been my favorite color since little. I see Jeep Wranglers really fascinating. I like offroading types of trucks. The one place i would like to go in a future to live is Colorado. The reason i would like to live there is because i like the cold weather,and also the country fealing which makes me.

In class today i learned how to blog. It seams pretty cool. Blogging is a whole new deal for me. I have never blogged before. Also this class,sports marketing seams exiting. I'm gonna learn stuff that is gonna be helpful for me in the future.
